  1. Great Pen I like the under tones thank you for sharing. Don’t you just adore Tom Hanks
    Love Sheila

  2. Good Morning Pen, Tres cool. What a brilliance of articulation. Hoping UR well as can be.

  3. Good Evening Penny. Just stopping by…to trick or treat. I am wearing a really scary mask. I do not yet have my make-up on. Much to do this holiday. Unfortunate so wet/rainy so not sure how many miniature goblins will be today. Big grimaces.

Hiya Happy. Not one person, big or small, knocked upon our door. We live in a neighbourhood of Polish. Maybe they do not celebrate Halloween:>)

  5. Oh thank you for sharing this. I love listening to all his ups and downs with his voice. I was spell bound. I love reciting poems only I have such an ugly voice to listen to. I wanted to create a slide show with my Flowing Feelings of Fall blog reciting the poem in the back ground. But after recording a couple of times I realized I didn’t have a pleasant voice to listen to. So I may end up still doing a slideshow video only have the words printed in slides and may have chimes tingling in the background. Just have to find time to sit and put in all together. Thanks again for sharing this I just loved it. Have a wonderful week. Hugs Carrie

Hiya Carrie. I believe we all think we have less than wonderful reading voices but one of the pleasures in listening to a person read aloud their poetry is the real sense of the person and their personality. Be brave and give it a try. Take care. Pen.

  7. Androgoth

This is a long way from his Castaway
days but wow he certainly captivates the
audience on this one Penny 🙂

    I enjoyed it too 🙂
Have a lovely weekend my great friend 😉

I hope you have a great weekend too, Andro. It is pouring with rain, as I type, so it will be a day spent indoors for me.

  9. Wut no kidlets? Few in YVR as just a downpour. Few out were soaked. The neighbourhood debate is what to do with leftover candy. Local food bank probably.

    Leaving a trick/treat for you:

    Big Smiles

    • OK I only meant to leave a link – not a whole video series. OK to remove. Sorry about that. I am so technology challenged. LOL

      • penelopephoebe

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I love it. You are so clever. I have not even tried leaving links, etc. Will so not remove:>)

      • I snorted a good chuckle at being called ‘clever’. This was total accident. I love the ‘Vincent’ short, the rdng. is just extremely divine. I wish I had such a voice for rdng. Another day of torrential rain in YVR. I will have to wear full gear to go out for an appointment. Big Smiles

  10. New words to chew or add to a stew?

Hiayh, hope UR well as can B.
Me goot. No more than the usual complaints
but I find complaining just takes away good
hours in front to the T.V.

    Big Smiles

  11. Hi Penny, thank you for your visit to my book. I am so glad to get that one out of my list of things to finish. My project right now is making greeting cards for Christmas. All made at home, no ordering the cards made with photos in them. So starting out with 12 X 12 card stock paper and cutting sizes I need then will glue my photos on and use my printer for adding text.. I found a whole bunch of colored envelopes at a 2nd hand store. So no big cost there. I really enjoy this creative process and sharing my photos this way. I realize it is so hard to sell anything on the internet so I think once I have some stock together I will hit some flea markets and over craft sales as a means of sharing my creations.
Thanks also for your encouragement to pursue the making of my video with reciting my poem with it. Now to just find the time to focus there for awhile. I really am enjoying my days more without flowers and gardening work outside. Mind you I have plenty to keep me busy 24/7 inside with work if I want to. Just not letting the pressure of it get to me anymore. Started my yoga at home and some time on our exercise machine. I so hate exercise, but I have to counter the time spent sitting at the computer.

Wishing you a blessed week. Hugs Carrie

Good luck with your latest enterprises, Carrie. Mind you don’t go wearing yourself out, what with all that and the exercising. Take care. Pen.

  12. Hello just scooted over to say ‘Hello’ and thanks for ‘Congrats.’ I appreciate from you because UR 1 of 4 long-time readers so you did know me when. I wud have been by sooner but it’s been a bit of zoo around the household. Sunshine here but cold with frost all over this A.M. Hoping UR well as can B. ~ Happy

Hiya Happy. We have days of cold rain here and much of the country is flooded:>( We live atop a cliff so that is less of a problem for us. Trust you are well. Pen,

  13. Good Morning Pen. Soggy. Grey. The last days before Solstice. Low sun. Perfect for the penning of boggy bits of text exploring angst. See specialist tomorrow. Worried Prednisone to increase which means tiredness and brain going to head cheese. Or I could sleep and be miraculously cured. I try to keep positive and upbeat but I don’t want to be too much of a Pollyanna. How you doing with the wet weather?

    • penelopephoebe

Cripes, Happy, I had to look up Prednisone and am shocked at all the possible side effects. I hope your condition improves, without any increase of this drug. Good luck with the specialist, anyway.
Today is sunny but the rain is due to continue tomorrow. They are having snow up north! Take care. Pen.
