summer 2012

After weeks of wet and windy weather, we are now basking in glorious sunshine. The slugs and snails had done their best to ruin the garden but succeeded in killing only a few tagetes and a beautiful lobelia cardinalis. I am posting a few photos to show just how hard it is to keep a good plant down.

The opening ceremony was amazing. I shall be watching mainly the athletics but have hopes for all our teams. Hope you and your lovely lady are enjoying this glorious weather. Take care.

  5. Oh your flowers are just beautiful. Sure doesn’t seem like you had a slug problem. I love the containers of flowers clustered together. Glad to see you have just beauty right out your front door. Mine are finally in full bloom and enjoying the color. Hugs Carrie
